Trivandrum: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is hosting a conference on ‘IT for SME - Success and Growth’ in association with SBT on July 17, 2012 at Thiruvananthapuram. The conference is part of the run up to the ‘Emerging Kerala 2012’ being organised by the Government of Kerala in partnership with CII where Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) has been identified as one of the key sectors to be focused.
Kerala is slowly but surely transforming into a hub for MSME across the globe. The primary objective of the conference is to create and enhance awareness of IT products and solutions for SME business houses as well as to connect the main stakeholders. The sessions will focus on Technology Intervention into the Manufacturing Sector: IT for SMEs, IT solutions vendors for SME businesses and Software technology partners in the eco-system & IT Infrastructure vendors in the industry.
The conference will provide a unique platform to discuss on multiple dimensions related to adopting IT solutions to accelerate business benefits and thereby achieve higher growth. Distinguished speakers from the Industry and Profession will be addressing the Conference.
The event - comprising of Conference and Technology Pavilion for the Sponsors and Exhibitors - is likely to be attended by around 200 decision makers / senior representatives from SME business units planning to adopt IT solutions and SME businesses already having good IT infrastructure, planning to leverage further.
Minister for Industries & IT, Shri P K Kunhalikutty will be the Chief Guest for the conference.
