Tvm: Trivandrum based Saasvaap Techies, a web services company, has announced the launch of a website designed and developed by them for the Left Democratic Front’s candidates contesting for the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. The website was inaugurated by the State Home Minister Shri Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on October 08, 2010.
The website has information about all the 100 LDF candidates contesting to the Thiruvananthapuram City Corporation. Detailed background information about the candidates including their photographs, political party and the election symbol are given in the website. While giving details about the LDF manifesto for the local body elections, the website also showcases the achievements of the previous Corporation Council held by LDF. Both the achievements and the manifesto have the options for downloading. This website is an initiative of the CPM District Committee to reach out to the online population of the city.
