Aceware Technologies launch Android training in Kerala

Tvm: Trivandrum based Aceware Technologies, a software service provider, has announced the launch of an Android training course. This course is targeted at Engineering graduates who want to excel in the field of Mobile Application Development. According to a release, this is the first time that any Android training course is being offered in Kerala.

Jimmin J Kurichiyil, Managing Director, Aceware Group said, “This Android training course will help to increase the employability of Engineering graduates of Kerala. The development of Mobile Applications using Android will increase exponentially in the near future.” The duration of the course is 2-3 months.

Android is an operating system for mobile devices such as cellular phones, tablet computers, net books. Android is a Linux based open source operating system which has JAVA library (similar to SE). Android has a large community of developers writing apps that extend the functionality of the devices. With the use of Android-based smart phones booming, there are currently over 90,000 apps available for Android, which makes it one of the most popular mobile development target. Developers write managed code in the Java language, controlling the device via Google-developed Java libraries.

The Android training uses its API, the Software Development Kit (SDK) and tools will help in unlocking the potential of Engineering graduates as an Android developer. The course explains what Android is and how it compares to other mobile environments. It also deals with the setup of the Android Eclipse-based development tools, the Android SDK, all essential features. The Android mobile phone market is growing at an impressive rate of 32 % every month, with new handsets being released all the time.
