MTS announces new range of bundled Smartphones

Kochi: Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that nationally operates its telecom services under the MTS brand today announced the launch of three Android based Smartphones - MTS MTag 351, MTS MTag 352 and MTS MTag 281. Priced in the range of Rs.5,499 to Rs.7,499, the new additions to the MTS Smartphone range run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and come bundled with ‘Unlimited’ data plans. The latest launch is in line with MTS’ strategy to offer a greater choice to CDMA Smartphone customers.

According to Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer, MTS India, “With the launch of these three Smartphones, we have now brought four new Android Smartphones in less than two months. MTS now offers a comprehensive range of Android Smartphones for discerning, on the move, tech savvy youth. The phones are powered by best in class Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor and come bundled with unlimited ‘All You Can Use’ High Speed Data plans and local MTS to MTS Calls.”

The launch is part of MTS’ aggressive strategy to populate its device portfolio for CDMA Smartphone customers and MTS now has a wide range of 8 Smartphones to choose from. Backed by the advanced MTS High Speed Data network and unlimited data plans, these Smartphones make surfing and application usage a breeze. All three Smartphones come with pre-embedded MTS TV application allowing its users on the move access to Live TV with more than 100 live TV and video-on-demand channels. Users get access to almost 450,000 applications and games from Google Play (market). MTS offers all its new Smartphones subscribers, free access to MTS TV for 1 month from date of activation
