Kochi: Ayruz Web Holdings, a Kochi based IT company, is all set to launch its new digital product, WordZo. The product will be launched by Shashi Tharoor, MP, at a function to be held at the Park Centre in Technopark, Trivandrum on November 15, 2011. WordZo is an online e-Book reading and language enhancement application that provides 20,000 books with the package. Single click on any word you are not familiar with and it will display the meaning of the word then and there.

According to Kenney Jacob, Founder & CEO, Ayruz, “It’s a unique concept, designed to make improving your English vocabulary more interactive and enjoyable. The best ideas and products evolve from how nature meant things to be. Nature teaches to observe, re-observe and follow. WordZo applies this to the natural learning process of mastering the English language. A union of three tools - the e-Book reader, a multilingual dictionary and a vocabulary revision tool, Wordzo provides learners with everything essential to master English.

As per the release from Ayruz, the online library has a collection of over 20,000 books which cover various genres from fictions, children's books, history and science to name a few. The readers need not bother to keep a dictionary handy. The context sensitive dictionary offers the meaning of the word at a double click on the word. And the readers can translate the meaning to any language of their choice. The advantage being, the reader would learn the application of the word as he / she reads the sentence, unlike a dictionary which just provides the meaning but not the usage. And finally, the reader need not keep a track of all the new words and meanings he / she has learnt. They are added to the list of ' referred words', which can be read through as and when the reader wants to, thus providing a self-testing environment. This application need not be downloaded or installed on the computer. Being a web-based application, all that a person needs is an internet connection.

Estabilished in 2009, Ayruz Web Holdings specialise in digital marketing, web application development and social media consultancy. The product launch will be followed by a session on ‘Gateway to Verbal Intelligence’ by Jayesh J L, a management consultant.
