Technopark techies' tech-a-break

Tvm: The sixth edition of the week long cultural fest in Technopark Trivandrum - Tech-A-Break, got off to a colourful start on February 19, 2010. The most popular event of the festival, the pageant was held today with the theme ‘Masquerades and Polka Dots’.

Tech-A-Break started on Friday with the Western Music (Solo) competition. Kripa Elizabeth Kurien of Infosys and Binu Jones from Allianz came first in the female and male categories respectively.

IBS bagged the first prize in the ‘Slumdog Millionaire Vs Milionaire Slumdog’ event, followed by Satmatrix and Gemeni in the second and third positions.

In the Light Music (Solo) competition held on Saturday, Sreejith Nair from Visual Graphics and Priyanka Mitra from UST Global came first. The day also saw the Techie Superstar 20-20 cricket contest which was a Celebrity Cricket Match with Kirmani and Sunil Joshi.

The Classical Music (Solo) event was also held today.
