Tvm: Aptara, the US based pioneer in digital publishing solutions has announced the expansion of its Trivandrum operations to accommodate its significant corporate growth. Aptara’s new Technopark office will be home to 1,200 employees, 600 of which are new positions. Opened in 2009, the first Trivandrum office now employs 500 employees. Aptara provides content creation, design and production services to 9 of the 10 largest publishers in the world including McGraw-Hill, Pearson, Thomson Reuters, Wolters Kluwer, and Grupo Planeta.

In a release, Dev Ganesan, President & CEO, Aptara said, “As demand for mobile devices and eBooks skyrocket, so does publishers’ need for digital content production expertise. I am proud to announce that Aptara is the fastest growing company in Technopark, Trivandrum. This is Aptara’s newest and fastest growing location and by Q3 of this year, the Trivandrum operations will double.”
