UL CyberPark Phase-I gets Gold rating pre-certified under LEED-CS

Kozhikode: The first phase of the upcoming UL CyberPark at Kozhikode has obtained pre-certification for Gold rating under LEED-CS from the Indian Green Building Council, according to a statement from UL CyberPark. UL CyberPark is being developed as an environment friendly green IT park of very high standards of quality.

UL CyberPark set to make a mark in Malabar’s IT scenario

Kozhikode: Inauguration of the QuickSpace building, project launch of UL Technology Solutions and the laying of the foundation stone for the first Software Development Building will mark the start of the first phase of UL CyberPark, a project owned & promoted by Uralungal Labour Co-operative Society (ULCCS), the biggest Labour Contract Society in Kerala. Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy will formally inaugurate these initiatives on January 20, at ULCCS SEZ in Nellikode near Kozhikode.

Kerala IT makes a mark at GITEX 2011 in Dubai

Dubai: As the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) Technology Week got off to a start in Dubai today, Kerala IT, the Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala, is making a concerted effort to make its presence felt in the international arena and get major investments to the State. Sultan Malek Al Malek, MD, Dubai Internet City inaugurated the Kerala IT Pavilion at GITEX 2011.

Cyberpark Kannur to take off on February 19

Tvm: Chief Minister Shri V S Achuthanandan will lay the foundation stone for the Cyberpark at Kannur on February 19, 2011. This will be the third Cyberpark in the Malabar region after Cyberpark Kasargod and Cyberpark Kozhikode.

2010 - in Review

In 2010, Cyberpark received Rs. 17.5 Crores as funding from the government, which represents a considerable increase from the Rs. 10 Crores received in 2009. The largest portion of this fund will be used to setup infrastructure within in the park such as 6 Lane access road, dedicated electrical substation, Rain water harvesting, waste water treatment and recycling, sewage treatment etc. Up to the end of 2010, Cyberpark has been focusing on completing the land acquisition, finalizing the master plan for the park, finalizing the design of the initial buildings etc.

Kozhikode Cyberpark gets SEZ approval

New Delhi: The Board of Approval under the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India has given SEZ approval to the Cyberpark coming up at Kozhikode at its meeting held on June 08, 2010. The foundation stone for the third IT hub in Kerala, the Cyberpark in Kozhikode was laid by the Chief Minister on May 17, 2010.

CM launches Cyberpark Kasargod

Kasargod: Chief Minister Shri V S Achuthanandan laid the foundation stone for the Cyberpark at Kasaragod on May 21, 2010. The Cyberpark at Kasaragod is being developed at 100 acres of SEZ approved land at Cheemeni as a spoke of the Cyberpark at Kozhikode.
